Juhi Chawla's 13 Most Memorable Roles
  1. Qayamat se Qayamat tak: This refreshing love story of 1989 saw a refreshing pair of Juhi and Aamir. Though technically Sultanat was Juhi’s first movie. QSQT made the mark for this bubbly, chirpy new girl of the 90s.

Who can forget the eternal sweetness and lan of the royal Rashmi? Juhi won Lux New Face 1989. Watch her in this ever green number “Gazab Ka Hai Din”

  2. Darr : Kkkkk Kiran. The sweet and sexy Kiran. Juhi was seen in a new hot avatar who was an obvious object of affection of King Khan. Juhi was the perfect blend of classy and sensual which made Shah Rukhs character more believable. Nominated for Best Actress.

  3. Ishq : She was this hot headed rich but not spoilt babe who would do any thing for her friend. Juhi played the part so well that the nonsensical comedy was actually a fun to watch.

  4. Bol Radha Bol: Gaon ki chhori i.e. a village lass Radha, who wants the only factory in the village to be restarted tries to woo the owner and then the pot boiler script makes her transform in to a sexy club dancer. Amazing! Dont you still tap your feet on Tu Tu Tu... Tu Tu Tara?

  5. Yes Boss: The ambitious Seema who has come to Mumbai to make it big, is confused between the equally ambitious Rahul and her lustful boss. Juhi is sweetness personified.

  6. Lutere: This was touted as Juhis hot avatar etc. Obviously looking at the release year of the film Juhi running on a beach in a shirt was fitting the definition of on screen exposing. Nevertheless this was a cop protecting witness drama and was a smashing hit.

  7. Arjun Pandit: Juhi was very different in this movie. A vengeful girl in disguise of a dreamy eyed lover. Juhi had played her part really well having a tinge of negative shade. But the movie had a very outdated look hence a great performance stayed ignored.

  8. Swarg: This was out and out melodrama jamming session ruled by Govinda and Rajesh Khanna. Juhi had a miniscule role but was fun to watch her with Govinda.

  9. Aamdani Athanni Kharcha Rupayya: This time Juhi had an equal rather better screen space thanm Govinda as the Jhoomri the working and well earning wife. Movie had a social message but was treated as a B grade comedy because the story revolved around Johny Lever, Vinay Anand and Chandrachud Singh.

  10. Aaina: A family social drama. Would just be a superhit tele serial today. Amruta Singh plays the elder stubborn sister and Juhi is the low profile, submissive younger sister. The suave Jackie after being left stranded at the wedding by Amruta marries Juhi. Where Amruta then comes back and tries to win Jackie again. Juhi won hearts by her subtle performance.

  11. Daraar : A remake of Sleeping With The Enemy. Juhi had nothing great apart from her star value as the film was a launch pad to Arbaaz Khan. The film remains with the same star value even today. Only Juhi Chawla.

  12. Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman: Juhi has made her way to the audiences hearts by playing the sweet, bubbly, homely girl next door and no one can play Renu the way Juhi did. Always being there for Raju, trying to bring him back to his ideology, his support system. An ideal girlfriend.

  13. Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke: Way back and much before Deepikas Meenamma Juhi played a Tam Bram Vyjayanti Iyyer and was too good with her comic timing. The movie was a super duper hit and Juhi is still remembered for her lines Itna hilate kyu ho? Train mein paida hue the kya?
Juhi won her only Filmfare award for this one.
